| A few of my favorite moments are: 1. The first night when Nick Colionne had me follow him around the stage. I was so nervous I was going to fall because the ship was rocking and I was wearing stilettos. 2. Thursday night when I was featured with Craig Chaquico. We did a few fun things. He played with one hand, then I played with one hand, then he played with one hand, and so I played with no hands. We did a couple of other fun things like that. 3. When Michael Lington and I did a feature together. We played Maputo, and it was a blast to get to play with him. 4. Playing musical microphones with Candy Dulfer and Eric Darius. There were never enough microphones for all the horn players on stage. So there were several moments where several artists shared one microphone. Check out some photos of Shannon on the cruise! | ![]() |

During NAMM this year, Shannon was officially signed with Beechler mouthpieces, and was also added as a Marca Reeds double reed artist. The release party, which happened during NAMM, was a lot of fun, and very successful. The club seats only about 50 people, and there were about 200 people there. Some had to sit in the restaurant and listen through the wall! Kendall, Shannon's photographer, was there taking photos, so there will definitely be some photos soon! But, in case you didn't already know, Shannon Kennedy's sophomore CD, Steppin Up is finally available on CD Baby. Be sure to get your copy! PS. The photo is a picture of a poster of Shannon at the Rheuben Allen booth at NAMM! |

recording Shannon's sophomore CD! Look forward to its release this fall! It features Shannon playing alto, tenor, soprano, and baritone saxophones, flute, as well as clarinet. It also has several guest artists appearing on a few of the tracks. The music is all original - it truly displays Shannon's diversity as a musician. |
